Manor Park and Royal Wellington Win Junior Pennants Titles

At the world class venue that is Royal Wellington GC, the 2021 Junior Pennants finals were held on a cloudy but fine, May Sunday morning. 

The wonderful sight of 32 players as young as 7 years old and more than 40 adults supporting and following, ensured a festive like morning and early afternoon. The clubhouse was buzzing with the unbridled enthusiasm of this group of youngsters, interested in how their teams finished, but far more enagaged in socialising with each other and enjoying the lovely lunch.

In the 18 Hole Pennnants grade, Manor Park came home in first place ahead of Shandon, Boulcott's Farm 1 and Boulcott's Farm 2. In the 9 Hole Pennants competition, Royal Wellington headed off Shandon, Boulcott's Farm and Judgeford yellow.

A superb finish to the season's finals, fitting that the youngest players in the district signed off the Interclub season for 2021.
