Contact tracing – Players are contact traced courtesy of the entry/draw. COVID-19 Tracer App and Ripple also available – both codes are on display in multiple areas of the Club House. Also there is a manual paper sign in register, for those that don’t use the app. All caddies, vsitors, others must scan or manually sign in.
Liquid hand Sanitizer is available for everyone to use and is situated outside the Starters Office. The MGC will be asking all competitors to sanitize their hands prior to going through the automated doors towards the practice putting green and also to reapply sanitizer before heading upstairs for lunch.
Cards will be provided to the players on the Tee.
All rakes are removed from the course. A smooth and drop rule, option, will be in place.
Ball washers and sand buckets are not available on course.
Flags will remain in the holes, a foam insert around the base of the flag to aid removing the ball from the hole. Competitors must hole out.
For lunch, the caterers will be serving lunch on a plate for each player. They have removed tables to adhere to distancing while players are eating. MGC will also be opening the bar to provide space for players to eat at a safe distance from others.
For presentations, the club have spaced out tables and minimized the number of people sitting at each table.
We will have 2 bars working to minimize congestion after the round.
