Erika Cui Women's Matchplay Champ

Following on from Jayden Ford and Darae Chung winning the National U13 Titles, 13 year old Erika Cui from BFHGC has claimed the WGI Women's matchplay championship, beating the defending champion Gabrielle Palado from Manor Park 1up in the final, after beating her good friend and provincial team mate Darae Chung of Shandon  also1up in the semi final. To cap off the day Erika was named in the Wellington Team to contest the National Interprovincials at New Plymouth in 2 weeks. The full team in playing order is Gabrielle Palado Manor Park,Te Rongopai Clay (Captain) Titahi Bay, Darae Chung Shandon, Erika Cui BFHGC, Shontalia William BFHGC and reserve Alannah Braybrook BFHGC.
