Womens Pennants Field Day at PBGC a success

This year’s annual Pennants Field day and Finals day was held at Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club on Monday 4^th July. The weather was chilly and there was a very cold wind. There was a field of 84 in the Field Day and they played a Foursomes stableford with Shandon coming out the winners with a very credible 90 points. The pairing of Mariana McDermott and Sandra Petersen with 33 points won the best stableford of the day.

There were also two matches played The Division 1 final was played between Royal Wellington and Miramar with Royal Wellington winning.  In the bronze division there was a playoff off for 3^rd and 4^th with Kapiti winning over Boulcott Farm on countback.

A huge thanks must go to Paraparaumu Beach for hosting this event. It was great occasion, the food was hot, the wine was cold and the atmosphere in the club rooms afterwards was amazing.
