Card plus Wellington lose to BoP 3/2

Playing in the coldest and windiest conditions this morning Cardplus
Wellington struggled early against BoP

Te Rongopai Clay never really got into her match. Had opportunities but the
putter was running cold.

Alanah Braybrook had her chances, getting to two up at one stage but lost
crucial holes coming in to lose 3/1.

Lucy Davis played another solid round of golf, securing Cardplus
Wellington's first point for the morning. Barbara Parreno fought hard back
from 4 down, to lose 2/1. 

Julianne Alvarez and Zoe Brake (BoP) had a close match with Julianne winning
the 17th with a birdie to go 1 up. Both played excellent shots from tee to
green on the par 5 18th both reaching the green in two. Julianne two putted
too secure Cardplus Wellington's second point.

Renee Fowler although disappointed was pleased with the teams fighting
spirit, commenting "that they just got outplayed in the end."
