Men's Masters begin 2024 with wins over Tairawhiti and Hawkes Bay

Wellington Men's Masters team got their 2024 campaign underway at Gisborne against teams from Tairawhiti and Hawkes Bay.

A good win over the locals combined with a great 2nd day effort aginst Hawkes Bay, secured both the win over the Bay and the overall triangular result.

Aaron Wright, Mark Bowden and Jonno Cane had a pair of wins each, and Matt Pegg sealed the result with two wins also, the match against former Wellingtonian and Seniors NZ champion Mike Trass key in getting the win over Hawkes Bay.
